Giyman is an old-fashioned term used to describe glass that was imported overseas in the early Edo period. This "Giyman" series uses special glazing techniques to create a shiny appearance similar to that of glassware. The daisy-shaped carving of this kobachi (small bowl) is elegant and tasteful. The deep glossy blue color will complement the presentation of all foods. Kobachi are traditionally used to serve appetizers in Japanese cuisine, but this bowl is great for serving small side dishes and desserts as well!
