Senjaku Candy: Black Honey & Kinako
These soft black honey kinako (roasted soy flour) candies are anything but basic. Black honey is a common ingredient in Japanese candies and sweets. It's a dark-colored sugar syrup made from muscovado sugar. The inside of each candy contains a pocket of rich black honey. These soft candies are then coated with a dusting of kinako for a lightly nutty flavor.
